A mystery about disappearance and re-emergence, this play takes place in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy in a ruined house on the Far Rockaways, New York. A woman who has gone about rebuilding her life with her mentally-disabled son is suddenly confronted by the arrival of a strange man who claims to be her husband. The only problem is, in the year since he disappeared during the storm, she has already chased in his life insurance and prepared a new life for herself. ROWBOAT WIDOW is a surreal comedy about the dangers of reinventing yourself.
